Textile Art That Breathes Life Into Your Space

Golden Rise

Synthetic upcycled fabric, LED light, 36 × 72 in., 2025

The video below introduces Golden Rise and offers insight into its concept and meaning.

Golden Rise celebrates the enduring hope that connects us all, even in the face of world challenges. In my work, the golden light radiating through the scorched layers of fabric symbolizes human resilience and our profound capacity for healing. It is a visual reminder that no matter how deep the fractures may seem, the light within us cannot be extinguished. This spark of humanity continues to unite us, offering a clear path forward toward peace and renewal.

Where Fabric Meets Light

Georgeta's experimental textile practice transforms synthetic fabrics through flame. The works can be presented as individual self-lit wall pieces or assembled into multiple panels.

The artwork has 24-hour integrated lighting. The custom illumination is fully controllable, allowing you to keep the lights low to enhance the room's ambiance and evoke a deep sensation of warmth and coziness.

The two images on the right show the artwork in natural daylight and at night.

Sculpted by Flame

A collection of wall-based textile works created from upcycled synthetic fabrics transformed through the use of flame.

Over the years, Georgeta’s work has been included in various public and private collections. She is honored to share a selection of these placements, each marking a meaningful connection with institutions, collectors, and curators who support the evolving narrative of my artistic journey.
