What Remains Series
Digital photographs of upcycled synthetic textile mini-sculptures & light, 2026
This series of digital photographs captures delicate, miniature textile sculptures illuminated from within. They are inspired by the fragile beauty of nature and the way it constantly changes.
Using translucent fabrics and heat, I create organic forms with scorched edges and delicate contours inspired by the botanical shapes we encounter in everyday life. These forms become like memories of nature—small impressions of moments that stay with us.
Through photography, I preserve these fleeting forms and invite viewers to pause and reflect on the beauty, fragility, and resilience of the natural world.
